Jr/Sr High Christmas Party

Retro_th1On Sunday Night, December 13, at 6:30 PM, at the church, we will be having a Jr./Sr. High Christmas Party. There will be food, games and movies for you to enjoy your night. There will also be an ugly sweater contest, so make sure you wear the most hideous sweater you can find 🙂 We will also be playing dirty Santa; everyone needs to bring a $5.00—$10.00 gift that is already wrapped to participate. Can’t wait to see you there and have some fun!!!

Opportunity to Serve

The boxes will be down the hallway leading to Fellowship Hall and labeled alphabetically for those who would like to send seasons greetings to their church family. To make sure everyone gets their cards in a timely manner, please try and have your cards here before December 20.

Teen Giving Tree

The Teen Giving Tree has appeared in our foyer. The tree is decorated with tags containing a gift suggestion for a teenage boy or girl whose family is assisted by the Parke County Community Food Pantry. Select a tag, purchase the gift item ($10.00 price range) and return, unwrapped, to one of the totes at the foot of the tree. The Food Pantry also accepts gently used or “like new” toys, books and gift items for this purpose.

We will discuss and encourage students to begin the process of evangelism with their friends, and to give them some specific tools for making it happen. Hope you can make it to these transformational lessons that will draw you closer to God!!

Pacers Faith & Family Night

Indiana_Pacers_1990.svgProfessional Hoops Indiana Pacers’ Faith & Family Night is Saturday, January 2 at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse featuring the Pacers and the Detroit Pistons. During the game, you’ll receive a free hotdog, bag of chips, soda, and Pacers-branded hat. After the game, you can stick around and hear from Pacers’ rookie guard Joe Young, as he discusses his journey to the NBA and the role his faith has played! Tickets are $14.80. Interested? Parent & Child Dedication

PCD picture button(3)Our Parent & Child Dedication is a ceremony to be held during the second service on Sunday, December 6. It is an opportunity for parents to make a commitment, along with the entire church family, to raise their children according to God’s Word and God’s ways. Christian parents who dedicate a child are making a promise to our Lord to do everything within their power to raise their child in a godly manner until he or she can make a decision on their own to follow Christ.
