Have the desire to reach out and touch someone with a note of encouragement? That’s what our Card Ministry is all about. Our Card Ministry team will meet this Tuesday, October 25, at 10 AM. If you know of anybody needing encouraged, please call the church office to have their name added to our list.

Trunk-or-Treat is a community celebration that will take place in the RCC parking lot and church house on Monday, October 31, as a safe, fun Halloween alternative. Folks from our congregation will decorate their cars and park them in a loop around our parking lot or set up a booth in the building. Each car/booth will have a supply of candy and simple games to play. At 6:00 PM, the children will come…literally, hundreds will come to fill our premises with laughter as they journey around to collect their treats and play games. There will be food and candy and popcorn and candy and cocoa and candy. Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy the evening.
We Need Your Help
As you can imagine, we need lots of help to make this community wide event a huge success and we can only achieve that with your participation. We’ll need “trunkers”…volunteers who are willing to decorate their vehicle or booth and host a game to play.
And A Little More Help
We will need lots and lots and lots of candy!!! If you are able to bring in a bag or two or three of candy, we would greatly appreciate it. Just place it in the wheelbarrow located in the foyer. Last year we had 100’s of kids and we are expecting the same this year with Trunk or Treat being on Halloween night.

Jr./Sr. High Students join us at the Big House for Sunday School. We have started a new series called “Global Justice.” We are going to be talking about the hardships and injustices that are happening all around the globe. God’s heart is to right these wrongs by calling us and empowering us to action. Our goal, of this series, is to show you that God is a God of justice. He can give you the opportunity to experience miraculous joy, by actually doing justice and changing our world! Can’t wait to learn more about this with you guys! See you at 10 AM.
Computer Volunteers Needed

Those who serve behind the scenes in our tech ministries are vitally important to our worship services. Our sound/light/tech crew do a great job each week and we truly appreciate their willingness to serve.
While we have a great crew working the 8:45 AM service, we are in need of volunteers to run the Media Shout computer for the 11:00 AM services.
Don’t let the idea of “tech” or “computer” scare you too much…the program sounds more complicated than it is. For the most part, all you need to be able to do is hit the space bar as you follow the cues provided each week. If you would like to volunteer, please make a note on your Connection Card or contact Ronna Bemis ASAP

Our medical mission, FAME, is hosting their annual dinner on Friday, October 21, at Jonathan Byrd’s in Greenwood. The evening features a wonderful meal, silent auction, and a report from the mission director. Tickets are $30. Call the church office for more information.
Trunk or Treat

Monday, October 31, from 6-8 PM. RCC is known as “THE” place to be on Halloween Night as countless kids come here for an evening of fun!
We need “trunkers” who will decorate a vehicle or booth and host a simple game. We also need lots and lots of candy. Candy may be placed in the wheelbarrow located in the foyer. Willing to host a trunk or booth? Make a note on your Connection Card.
