Interpretive Dance Team Meeting—May 7

An informational meeting for those students ages 6-18 interested in participating in a new Interpretive Worship Dance Team will be held on Sunday, May 7, immediately following our morning services in Fellowship Hall. Parents need to attend this meeting. Just a reminder: No dance experience is required, and there is no cost. The only requirements are dedication, able to attend practice once a week (day to be determined) and available to perform on scheduled dates. If you would like more information, please contact the church office.
Breakfast is Served

Next Sunday, May 7, plan on arriving a little early for Sunday School. Our dedicated breakfast crew will be busy cooking and preparing a hearty meal for you to start the day off right. The line will start forming at 8:30 AM and will end promptly at 9:15 AM so everyone can get to their Sunday School Class.

Youth Coin Sunday

The last Sunday of every Month is the day to unload that heavy change in your purse or pockets. You can put loose, rolled, or bagged change in the offering plate as it is passed. Our RCC Youth will put your loose change to good use.
New Directory

The first wave of our new church directory will be coming to an end shortly. We don’t want you to miss out on this opportunity, so stop by the Welcome Center pick up the info card and sign up to have your and/or your family picture taken. If you have already had your picture taken and filled out the card please check our sample to make sure all of your information is in it correctly. We will begin printing the new directories soon.

How Can You Help?

As many of you know, our high school students will be attending CIY MOVE in Holland, MI. We cannot do this event without your help! Our Sr. High Students are trying to raise and earn their own money to pay for this trip. So, if you would like to hire a teen or two to do some work around your house, call the church and let us know! Also, if you don’t want to hire a teen but just want to give a donation there are flyers on the bulletin board in the foyer to do so! It’s simple tear off one, two, three…. tags place them in an envelope along with the money and students name on front. You can place the envelopes in the offering plate or give to Kevin. We appreciate your help so much!! Have questions, see Kevin Roach.
Missions

Poland Trip: The Porters would like to thank all who have been financial, prayer and other forms of support for this year’s mission. They are down to just $660 need to be fully funded. To that end, Rachel is selling greeting cards from Usborn Books – 30 beautiful cards for $30 in a cute storage box. $13 per box goes toward the mission. More info is available at the Welcome Center and at journeyback.org
Lunch: Thank you to everyone who has attended our fundraiser lunches and given so generously. Our next lunch will be April 23 with grilled hamburgers and hot dogs.
Short Term Trip: We are planning a youth/adult mission trip to the Mountain Mission School in Virginia July 14-18. There is a sign- up sheet at the Welcome Center if you are interested.
