Leadership Study

The first study gathering for Elders, Deacons, and Trustees is Monday night, January 22 at 7:00 PM.  Copies and reading schedule of “They Smell Like Sheep” are available in the office. Note – this study will replace normal board meeting this month.  

Missions

Join us for lunch after the Worship Service next Sunday, January 28.  It will be the first fundraising lunch to help raise funds for our Amazon trip in late August.  There will be a freewill offering.  We will be serving fried chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, salads, and desserts.  Sign up at the Welcome Center if you plan to attend.  Also, please sign up…

RCC Ladies Lunch

This Thursday, November 30,  we’re planning to eat lunch at Lavina Kanagy’s an Amish Farm.  We’ll leave the church at 12:00 PM.  The cost is $15.00.  If you want to join us, please call the church office.

Worship Services will be at 9:00 & 10:30 AM. Please note, there will be no Sunday School or Children’s Church. Nursery will be offered for ages birth – 4 years. We will also have an evening Candlelight Service at 5:00 PM.  

The “Love in Action Ministry Team” will be hosting a noon lunch  for the residents of Burnet Manor on December 19.  Make sure to stick around for the singing of Christmas carols after lunch. For more details contact the Church Office.  

Christmas Caroling Party will be December 10. We plan to meet at the church at 4:30 PM travel around town in a caravan of cars, vans and maybe the Church Bus, singing Christmas Carols and than head back to the church around 6:30 PM to warm up and eat supper.

Poinsettias for the Worship Center are $15 this year. Sign-up to sponsor a poinsettia in memory or honor of a loved one at the Welcome Center by Sunday, December 3. And don’t forget to take your poinsettia home after the holidays!  

The 2017 Teen Giving Tree is up in the foyer, gift tags are on the tree to take. Return the unwrapped item, $10-$15 range, and place in the totes.  These gifts go to children of the families who access the Parke County Food Pantry. They are our neighbors and friends, let’s help them have Merry Christmas this year.  

There will be a Holiday Pitch-in Breakfast Sunday, December 3 in Fellowship Hall. Everyone is invited, just bring your favorite breakfast food and join the morning fun. The serving line will begin at 8:30 AM and end at 9:15 AM.
