I began as the senior minister at the Rockville Christian Church in 2017. Originally from Joppatowne, Maryland, I have served in congregational ministry in Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, and Ohio since 1994. I also served as an adjunct professor of Bible at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. I am a graduate of Johnson University, Lincoln Christian Seminary, and Emmanuel Christian Seminary. email@example.com
I joined the RCC staff in May of 2013 as the Youth Minister after graduating from Johnson University. More recently, I have moved to the position of full time Associate Minister. I am involved in regular preaching, teaching, men’s ministry, and helping first and second time guest know they are welcomed and loved and to help them find their place in the church as disciples of Jesus. I have been married to my best friend and ministry partner, Haley, since July of 2016. When not at the church, you can find me out in the woods hiking, or at home with a good book.
I have been a part of the RCC staff since 1993, first serving as church secretary. My love for children led me into children’s ministries where I served for over ten years. God has since led me into music ministry where I enjoy working with the Worship Band and Praise Teams, as well as Kids Praise and AXIS. My husband Larry and I live in Newport, IN.
Hey, everyone! My name is Jordan Shearin and I am happy to be serving the students and families as an RCC staff member! I was born in Danville IN and was heavily involved in a few sports and church growing up. I graduated from Harding University, where I learned how to help teens and families growth in their relationships with God and others. I enjoy playing bass and acoustic guitar and have been on worship teams since my high school days. I've built my own home desktop computer for gaming, and have a HUGE passion for coffee. I also have a chocolate lab named Lilly who has energy to spare and an affinity for belly rubs. I have a wide range of interests, and so I look forward to meeting you all and getting to know each other!
I am a wife, mom of 4 grown boys, and a "grandmother lou lou" to an amazing granddaughter. I have lived in Rockville area since August 2008. I love working with the kids here and seeing them grow in their relationship with Christ. When I am not working with the kids you could find me hiking, playing on my Seadoo, her name is Smokie, or visiting my boys. Love my job and the relationships I have with these great kids.
I have been on the RCC staff since 2010. I am the daughter of Carl and Vicki Huxford, who have ministered for more than 50 years in churches spanning across several states. I am married to Marty and we have four children; Tara, Nathan, Isaac, & Hannah and 3 Grandchildren.
I began as the Nursery Director in the fall of 2018. I have always had a passion for children and serving others. Before starting this position I worked in our church daycare for 3 1/2 years caring for the infants and I also help sub in our preschool. I am married to Clint and we have two daughters, Hallie & Ryleigh. When not at church, I am blessed to be home raising our girls. God called us to homeschool our children beginning in the fall of 2017, a journey I am truly grateful for.
I have been RCC's Preschool Director since 1995 with degrees in Early Childhood Education from Indiana State University and nursing from IVY Tech. My hobby is traveling and I am married to Pastor Tim Russell. My favorite verse is Ephesians 4:1 - "I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received."
I have been RCC's Preschool Teacher Assistant since 1995. I enjoy teaching children, especially in the area of music. and feel blessed to be a part of this children’s ministry and great staff at RCC. I have been married to Gary for 45 years and reside in Rockville.
I am Jenadon McCain. I became the Director of the Daycare in May 2019. I have been working at the daycare since February 2014. I love my job and the kids that have been through the daycare. I have been married to my husband Zack since July 2014. In 2017 we were blessed with our first child, a daughter, Sutton. When I am not at daycare you can find me with my family, making projects, and being adventurous.
