Open House

Help us welcome Jordan Shearin, our new youth minister, to the RCC family and Parke County. Everyone is invited to join us Sunday evening, September 29,  from 5:00-7:00 PM, in fellowship hall, for a Gift Card Shower in his honor. Light refreshments will be served. Bring the whole family, join the fun, and get to know Jordan.    

Women’s Fall Retreat

September 26 will be the RCC Women’s Fall Retreat. Guest speaker will be Cathy Harvey, from Lindenhurst, IL. Doors open at 5:00 PM. Salad and dessert buffet begins at 5:45 PM. Tickets are $5.00 and are available at the door.  

Women’s Bible Study

All ladies are invited on Monday nights from 6:30-8:00 PM. The study is The Jesus You Can’t Ignore. A book and a study guide are available for $15 for both. The group will meet in room #111 of the church building.  

Sunday September 8, 2019 we will be having an “Old Time Revival” as we celebrate Family Reunion Sunday. Invite your friends and family to come back and join us. Donuts and coffee will be served, in fellowship hall, from 9:00 -10:15 AM with worship service starting at 10:30 AM. *Please note no Sunday School on this Sunday.  

After a “summer vacation” 242 will resume on Wednesday September 4, 2019. Supper is open from 5:30-6:30 PM and Bible Study is from 6:30-7:30 PM. There will be children and  students activities also.  

Prayer Walk

August 28, at 6:30 PM We will meet at the church then break into groups and go out into our community to surround our town in prayer. Remember to bring you Bible! Hope to see you there! If you have any questions or would like to participate see Kevin.  

Back to School Bash & Ice Cream Social

     Hard to believe but school is back in session. Join us on Sunday August 4, for a special back to school event.
