Poland Trip: The Porters would like to thank all who have been financial, prayer and other forms of support for this year’s mission.  They are down to just $660 need to be fully funded.  To that end, Rachel is selling greeting cards from Usborn Books – 30 beautiful cards for $30 in a cute storage box.  $13 per box goes toward the mission.  More…

From Missions

We have scheduled a short- term mission trip, July 14-18, to the Mountain Mission School in Virginia. This trip will be for both youth and adults.  If you are interested, please sign up at the Welcome Center.  

A revised missions budget is available at the Welcome Center.  The missions committee has regretfully had to make cuts to all of our supported missions based on our decreased giving.  

Mission’s Lunch

There is a fundraiser lunch today , March 19, following our church service.  Rick and Kay Wolford will be staying to visit and answer questions about Rick’s work.

Join us for lunch next Sunday, March 19, 2017!  The missions committee will be having another fundraising lunch next Sunday following the church service.  We will be serving soup, salads, and desserts and “tacos in a bag” for the kids. The Porters will be sharing information about their summer trip to Poland and the work of Polish Christian Ministries, one of our supported missions….

Soup, Salad and Dessert

You’re invited to join us for lunch following the church service on February 12.  The Missions Committee will be serving soup, salads,  and desserts and hot dogs/chips for the kids.  It will be a fundraiser for our missions budget and the Parke/Vermillion Crisis Pregnancy Center, one of our supported missions. The Center’s Director will be attending the lunch to share information about their work.

The Missions Committee would like to thank those who were so generous in helping our supported missionary, Tamayo Remedios, in the Phillippines.  We collected $750 to help with her hospital/treatment costs following her cancer surgery.  Thank you so much!

We Got Your Number

Offering Envelopes are here and may be picked up in the foyer.  Names are already on the top of each box, please be sure to take only yours. Also, (and very important) sign your name on the sheet of paper indicating you took your box.  This will be used to send tax statements at the end of the year.  

Soup & Salad Luncheon for Missions

Next Sunday, January 24, we are hosting a Soup & Salad Luncheon to raise funds for the two mission teams we as a congregation are sending out this May.  Our homemade soups will be vegetable beef, chicken noodle and cheesy potato – along with salads and desserts.  We will also have lunch items for kids.  There is no charge, but freewill donations will be accepted….
