November’s Memory Verses

Scripture Cards for the month of November are available at the Welcome Center. These are from the devotional book, The Joshua Code: 52 Verses Every Believer Should Know. There are three cards for this month.

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is the largest Christmas project of its kind.  It uses gift-filled shoeboxes to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world.  Informational brochures are in the foyer that explains how and what to pack in your shoebox.  National Collection Week is November 16-23.

Daytime Savings

Time to change the clocks again, but this time we get an extra hour of sleep. This Sunday November 1st we get to set our clocks back an hour. So, make sure that you do, or you’ll be early. Come join us for service.

Last Chance for Tickets

If you are planning to attend Hanging Rock’s Fall Fundraising Banquet on Sunday, November 8, today is the last day to purchase your ticket at the Welcome Center.  Tommy and John Thomas Oaks will present their down-on-the-farm “Country Biscuit Jamboree”.  Tickets are available for $15 per person.  After today, you may purchase tickets online at http://www.hangingrock.org.

Amazon Boat Mission Trip Fundraising

We have kicked off our Amazon Boat Trip fundraising campaign. team of 15 volunteers will leave in May 2016. See the bulletin board, in the foyer, for more information. ask that you continue to pray for the trip and the team members involved, also about how you might be able to partner with us.

Marriage Mentoring

We are starting a Marriage Mentoring program at RCC. We are looking for couples who are willing to learn the art of mentoring, mentor a couple, and set them free to mentor another couple. Jeff & Donna Eslinger are taking the lead. You may contact them to volunteer or for more information.

Volunteers & Candy Donations Needed – Trunk or Treat

We need two things to make our Trunk or Treat a big success. First, we need “trunkers” who will decorate their car, truck, mini-van, or set up a booth in the building and host a simple game for our kids to play.
