Trunk-or-Treat is this Tuesday, October 31, from 6 – 8 PM. This is a safe, fun Halloween alternative for children and their families.

We are still in need of some more vehicles in the church parking lot and/or booths in the church building, with simple games for kids to play and receive their candy. If you are willing to be a “trunker” sign up at the Welcome Center.
In the past, we have had several 100 children and families each year, come through our lines and this year we are hoping to have an even bigger crowd. That being said … if you are able to bring in a bag or two or three of candy, we would greatly appreciate it.

We need two things to make our Trunk or Treat a big success. First, we need “trunkers” who will decorate their car, truck, mini-van, or set up a booth in the building and host a simple game for our kids to play. If you are willing to be a “trunker” or a “boother”, please make a note on your Connection Card or comment here.
Second, Sweet Treats. We, also, need candy and we mean lots and lots of candy. Donating a bag or two of candy? Just deposit it in the wheelbarrow located in the foyer. Questions? Need an idea for a game? Talk to Kevin.

This Halloween our church parking lot will be filled with laughter as children from across the county journey from car to car to play a game and collect a treat. Trunk Or Treat is a safe, fun Halloween alternative for your family. Join us on Saturday, October 31 from 6 til 8:00 PM for an great evening of fun. This is a fun event for everyone so no scary costumes, please.
We Need Your Help

As you can imagine, we need lots of help to make this community wide event a huge success and we can only achieve that with your participation. We’ll need “trunkers”…volunteers who are willing to decorate their vehicle and host a game to play and candy.
Trunkers Needed
Want to do something unique to reach out to our community for Jesus’ sake? For Trunk of Treat, we need at least 30 vehicles in the church parking lot with simple games for kids to play and receive their candy. If you are willing to decorate your trunk, mini van, or golf cart please sign up on your Connection Card. If you have any questions or need an idea please see Kevin Roach or Pat Fahey
And A Little More Help

Trunk-or-Treat is a community celebration that will take place in our parking lot on Friday, October 31, as a safe, fun Halloween alternative. Folks from our congregation will decorate their cars and park them in a large loop around our parking lot. Each car will have a supply of candy and simple games to play. At 6:00 PM, the children will come…literally, hundreds will come to fill the parking lot with laughter as they journey from car to car to collect their treats and play games. There will be food and candy and popcorn and candy and hot chocolate and candy. Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy the evening.
