How Can I Help?

OneStarryNightLogo_HRWe will need lots of people for different decorating and building stations. Painting, cutting, gluing, and tree building to name a few no experience necessary just come join the fun. Our work evenings will be Thursday November 14, Monday November 18 and Thursday November 21 all will start at 6:00 PM.

OneStarryNightLogo_HRMark your calendars for December 4 and 5, from 6:00-8:00 PM. Invite your family and friends to take a walk with the shepherds, visit with the town’s people, experience the sights, sounds, and, smells of Bethlehem as you journey to the stable to see the new born Baby Jesus.

OneStarryNightLogo_HRWe will need lots and lots of people for a variety of different roles including: actors, costume prep, decorating, decorating, more decorating,  cookies, and of course clean up. OneStarryNightLogo_HR            October 8, at 6:30 PM, an informational meeting for all who are interested in One Starry Night is planned. This amazing event will be taking place December 4 & 5.  We will need yummy homemade cookies, acting roles filled, animals, decorating up to the event props made and lots more!   If you are wanting to help with this great community outreach event please plan to attend this meeting. Christmas Event

OneStarryNightLogo_HR Sunday afternoon, October 7, at 5:00 PM there will be an informational meeting on our upcoming Christmas event.  We are going to need lots of help to make this outreach event successful.   Please come to learn how you can help!  We will be serving a light dinner as we brainstorm.  If you have any questions please see Lou Ann.

 

“Christmas in July”

Picture1   The Women of Service have set up a red, white and blue decorated tree to replace the “Teen Giving Tree” usually set up at Christmas. They will collect toys, games and gifts, for all ages of children served through the Parke County Community Food Pantry. The items will be stored until the Food Pantry sets up their Christmas Shop. The red/white/blue tags are gift suggestions for people to take and purchase. The gifts do not need to be wrapped and can be returned any time during the month.

Please note, there will be no Sunday School or Children’s Church.

Nursery will be offered for ages birth – 4 years.

We will also have an evening Candlelight Service at 5:00 PM.

 

carolingThe “Love in Action Ministry Team” will be hosting a noon lunch  for the residents of Burnet Manor on December 19.  Make sure to stick around for the singing of Christmas carols after lunch. For more details contact the Church Office.
