The season is here for packing shoe boxes for children around the world. There is a display set up in the foyer with shoe boxes, paper work on how to pack a shoe box, “wow” items to include and other information you may need.
Collection week is November 18-25.
RCC is a Central Drop Off Location Center again this year. This means that area churches, businesses, and people will bring their shoe boxes here during Collection Week. Then Sunday November 24 will be packing day! We will have a semitrailer in our parking lot and after church we will be packing individual shoe boxes into shipping cartons and loading them in the truck. Everyone is invited, all ages can help! 8,217 Kids Get Gifts for Christmas!

Many thanks to all who participated in Operation Christmas Child 2105. As a Collection Center, we packed 8,217 shoe box gifts onto TWO semi trailers headed for Boone, NC, where they will be processed and shipped out to children all over the world!
OCC Packing Day!

Next Sunday is packing day for Operation Christmas Child! We will start immediately after 2nd Service…continuing through the afternoon and evening. Contact Ronna if you are able to help. Pizza, chips and drinks will be provided for those volunteering to help!

Jr./Sr. High Students, on November 22 at 6:30 pm, we will be loading up the Operation Christmas Child Semi. There is a lot of work to be done so come on out and help this great cause! Also, we will reward you with PIZZA!!! Hope you can make it out!

Operation Christmas Child: October collection is “Just for Fun”. Examples are small cars/trucks, sports balls, dolls/clothing, jump ropes, yo-yos, small airplane gliders, play-doh, stuffed animals. Operation Christmas Child cannot accept: used/damaged items, war-related items, toy guns/knives, military figures, chocolate/food, liquid, lotion, vitamins/medications, aerosol items, glass/breakables.
