You Can Help

ciy  In just a few short weeks our Sr. High Students and Youth Leaders will be leaving for CIY MOVE conference in Holland, Michigan. There are several ways you can still help the group.
To Our Prayer Warriors:  Please, stay in constant prayer for our teens and leaders while they prepare and are on this trip, but also continue to pray for the group after they have returned.  Life can be more challenging on your own turf.  Let’s pray for these young people to stay strong in their lives and in their walk with our Lord and Savior.

Secondly: Our teens are trying to raise and earn  their own money to pay for this trip. So, if you can help or would like more information on how you can give a monetary donation please contact Kevin Roach.

Garage Sale

Garage Sale           The RCC Youth will be hosting a garage sale on Saturday, July 8, from 9 AM – 4 PM. The event will take place, rain or shine, in the Big House. All proceeds will be donated to Samaritan Village Orphanage in Tanzania, Africa. Please bring donations to the church between July 2-6 (or sooner, ask Haley Roach) and spread the word!

Sponsor a Teen

ciy  As many of you know, our high school students will be attending CIY MOVE in Holland, MI. We can not do this event without your help! So, if you would like to hire a teen  or two to do some work around your house, call the church and let us know! Also,  if you don’t want to hire but just want to give a donation to a teen there will be flyers out in the foyer to do so! We appreciate your help so much!! If you have questions see Kevin Roach.

DiscoveryGraphic

Wednesdays will be buzzing with activity at RCC as we open the church doors for an evening of Discovery.  You will have the opportunity to discover new friendships as we enjoy a family meal together.  The informal atmosphere will allow you to discover names, which child belongs to who, and the vibrant personality of our congregation.  Most importantly, we’ll discover Biblical insights to live by.

Dinner for the entire family will be served from 5:45 until 6:30 PM.  The cost will be $3 per person or a maximum of $12 per family.

Classes for all ages will begin at 6:45 PM.  For the adults, we will be using “The Resolution” as our study guide.  The book is an unapologetic call for men and women to live courageously for their faith.  Our study is designed challenge you to become the man/woman God created you to be.  It is a pursuit of the ironclad character God wants to develop in each of us.  Because of the content of the book, there will be a class for the men and a separate class for the women.  Books are available at the Welcome Center.

There will be classes and activities for all ages.  Following dinner, Jr/Sr High will meet in the Big House.  Our Elementary Youth will meet in the Worship Center for the opening session, then break up into small groups for discussion and lesson activities.  And, of course, a Nursery will be available for infants and toddlers.
