On Sunday June 2, students who will be going into kindergarten, 3rd grade, or 6th grade, will meet together upstairs in the children’s church room. From there the Sunday School teachers will take you to your new classrooms. See Lou Ann if you have questions.

The Friendship Sunday School Class would like to invite anyone interested, in learning more about “What the Bible Says About Heaven”, to join them. This is a great opportunity if you are looking to know more or starting fresh into the Sunday School program. The class meets in room 111.
Promotion Sunday

Next Sunday, June 4, students entering First, Fourth, and Sixth Grades along with Freshman will be promoted. These students will report to their new classrooms at the beginning of the Sunday School hour. If you have questions on where they are located, please ask at the Welcome Center.

Sunday School isn’t just for kids! If you’re not already involved in a Sunday School class, we encourage you to find a group to study God’s Word and fellowship with. Our current adult Sunday School classes are:

Jr./Sr. High Students: Over the course of the last 9 months, on Sunday mornings, we have been laying down the foundation of the Bible. We are currently doing a couple of lesson in Joshua, then we will be working our way through the book of Judges!

Nursery. It’s great to be part of a vibrant congregation that has a lively nursery. If you are willing to “sit” with our infants, toddlers, or preschoolers in a rotation schedule during worship or Sunday School…we need you.
Sunday School. We have a great problem…we have lots of kids attending Sunday School. That means we need teachers who will teach one month, four times a year in the Preschool and 1st-3rd Grade classes.
Children’s Church. Kevin needs a few volunteers to lead Children’s Church during first or second service on one Sunday each month for the coming year.
First Impression. If you love people and the great outdoors, this ministry is calling your name. We are looking for a team of men who will greet folks in the parking lot with a warm smile, robust welcome, and a helping hand. There will be days to offer an umbrella or a steady arm on slick pavement.

Sunday School
Between our two worship services at 10:00 AM is Sunday School. With something for all ages, you’re sure to find your class inviting and age-appropriate. Jr. High meets in room 204 upstairs and Sr. High meets in “The Big House” (the building to the northwest of the church.)
Jr. High Wednesday Night Bible Study
This is when we dig deep into the Bible for growth. We learn about the Bible and how it impacts our lives. We meet in the Jr. High Sunday School Classroom. Join us every Wednesday at 6:30 PM.
Conferences
There are age-appropriate events going on throughout the year. Jr. High Believe, ICYC, Church Camp, and CIY MOVE are all events that we have gone to in the past. There will be other activities for Jr/Sr High students planned throughout the year.

Adult Sunday School

Six adult study classes are offered at RCC each Sunday at 10:00 AM. The BASIC, Cornerstone, CTV , Friendship Class and Kingdom Builders classes are composed of adults of all ages. Our Young Adult Class (YAC) is for 20 to 30-ish year olds. Each class offers an opportunity for the study of God’s Word, prayer and fellowship. Your presence would be welcome in any of these classes. Currently nearly all the Sunday Schools classes are in a year long series of “What the Bible is All About.” A journey from Genesis to Revelation in a year.
