Rockville Christian Church“Fundraiser Meal”

Come join us for a fundraising lunch after service Sunday, February 9 in fellowship hall. There will be a Candy Heart Jar Guessing Game and a (Not-So) Newlywed Game with some interesting people! The students will be serving you lunch and doing the clean up. All you have to do is come for the fun.
There is also a board in the foyer with numbered envelopes. It’s easy. Just take an envelope, fill it with the dollar amount represented by the number on the envelope and drop it in the box on the table! All donations and funds raised will go to help cover the costs of CIY Believe and SuperStart, so we can keep the prices low for families and have an incredible time while we’re away!

Missions

Join us for lunch after the Worship Service next Sunday, January 28. It will be the first fundraising lunch to help raise funds for our Amazon trip in late August. There will be a freewill offering. We will be serving fried chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, salads, and desserts. Sign up at the Welcome Center if you plan to attend. Also, please sign up if you would like to donate a salad or dessert.

This Thursday, November 30, we’re planning to eat lunch at Lavina Kanagy’s an Amish Farm. We’ll leave the church at 12:00 PM. The cost is $15.00. If you want to join us, please call the church office.

The “Love in Action Ministry Team” will be hosting a noon lunch for the residents of Burnet Manor on December 19. Make sure to stick around for the singing of Christmas carols after lunch. For more details contact the Church Office.

Sunday, March 12 is our Worship Celebration with testimonies and sharing from members of our RCC family. Bring your favorite “potluck” dish to share for a lunchtime Linger Longer immediately following our service. Table service and drinks will be provided.

Join us for lunch next Sunday, March 19, 2017! The missions committee will be having another fundraising lunch next Sunday following the church service. We will be serving soup, salads, and desserts and “tacos in a bag” for the kids.
The Porters will be sharing information about their summer trip to Poland and the work of Polish Christian Ministries, one of our supported missions. The freewill offering will be divided between the Porters and our mission fund. Hope you can join us.
Soup & Salad Luncheon for Missions

Next Sunday, January 24, we are hosting a Soup & Salad Luncheon to raise funds for the two mission teams we as a congregation are sending out this May. Our homemade soups will be vegetable beef, chicken noodle and cheesy potato – along with salads and desserts. We will also have lunch items for kids. There is no charge, but freewill donations will be accepted.
The first seating for lunch will be immediately following Sunday School for those of you who attend first service. We will offer another seating after second service.

The Elders would like to extend an offer for lunch. If you are “new” to RCC, we would like to invite you to a NewComer’s Lunch on Sunday, October 26, immediately following second service. It’s an opportunity to meet the staff, Elders and their families, ask questions, and enjoy a wonderful meal. It’s also a great way to begin connecting names with faces.
