The Parke/Vermillion County Community Pregnancy Center will be having a Jonah Fish Fry on August 20, at the Montezuma Community Center, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. The CPC is one of RCC’s supported local missions. We hope everyone will come out, get supper, and support one of our local missions.

FAME: We have scheduled the following dates for our future trips to the FAME headquarters in Indianapolis: April 18, May 15, June 20, July 24, August 30 and September 18.
Mission of the Month: our missions bulletin board is highlighting Hanging Rock Camp. Their mission is to provide opportunities for individuals, families, and churches to establish and strengthen their relationship with Jesus Christ. During 2018, the camp served 7,095 individuals. Of that number, 1944 attended summer camps during which 73 young people accepted Jesus and were baptized. When you give to our missions fund you are helping with the work of Hanging Rock. 2018 Porter Poland Mission Open House

The 2018 Porter Poland Mission is just $1385 away from being fully funded. An Open House fundraiser will be held in the youth building March 29 (noon-6PM), March 30 (10AM-7PM) and March 31 (8AM-12PM). Come out and shop handcrafted jewelry and home decor, participate in a wrap bracelet make-n-take workshop, buy baked goods and get some great thrift shop finds to support this ministry. Join us for lunch after the Worship Service next Sunday, January 28. It will be the first fundraising lunch to help raise funds for our Amazon trip in late August. There will be a freewill offering. We will be serving fried chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, salads, and desserts. Sign up at the Welcome Center if you plan to attend. Also, please sign up if you would like to donate a salad or dessert.

Short Term Mission Trip: We still have several spots available on the team traveling to the Mountain Mission School in Grundy, Virginia from Friday, July 14 to Tuesday, the 18th. The only cost will be for meals going and coming back. We would like to have more adults and youth join us. There is a sign- up sheet at the Welcome Center. Questions – contact Dianna Ross.
FAME: A group will be heading to the FAME headquarters in Indianapolis on Thursday, July 6. We will be leaving the RCC parking lot at 7:30 AM and return around 3:30 PM. Please sign up at the Welcome Center if you want go with us. Our next trip will be August 3.
Monthly Mission’s Meeting: If you have a heart for missions or want to learn more about our supported missions, please join us for our monthly Mission’s Meeting on Thursday, July 13, at 6:30 PM.

Poland Trip: The Porters would like to thank all who have been financial, prayer and other forms of support for this year’s mission. They are down to just $660 need to be fully funded. To that end, Rachel is selling greeting cards from Usborn Books – 30 beautiful cards for $30 in a cute storage box. $13 per box goes toward the mission. Lunch: Thank you to everyone who has attended our fundraiser lunches and given so generously. Our next lunch will be April 23 with grilled hamburgers and hot dogs.
Short Term Trip: We are planning a youth/adult mission trip to the Mountain Mission School in Virginia July 14-18. There is a sign- up sheet at the Welcome Center if you are interested.
